This is the only official internationally recognised Refocussing web site.  A list of all counsellors, facilitators, and registered partitioners is held by us and should be regularly checked to ensure you are receiving Refocussing from a registered practitioner.

WHAT?

Refocussing is an internationally recognised counselling theory and practice, which provides reputable research from the University of Auckland, detailing the systematic integration of theology and psychology to provide the sound theory and practice of Refocussing. The overall aim of Refocussing is to facilitate wholeness; and to achieve this the theory therefore provides ‘a seven foci meta-system’ to attend to people’s unmet needs in the:

Intra – personal ( intellectually, physically, emotionally, morally);

Inter -personal  (socially, recreationally, vocationally),

Trans-personal (specifically their relationship with God  and spiritual development).

Refocussing Counselling (RFC) or Refocussing Therapy (RFT) has been reported to be very effective for:
